Magnesia bricks are alkaline refractory materials with high-purity MgO as the main component. They have excellent high-temperature stability, alkali resistance, corrosion resistance and good thermal conductivity, and the refractoriness can reach above 2000℃. They can be divided into sintered magnesia bricks and fused magnesia bricks.
Magnesia bricks are mainly used in the iron and steel metallurgical industry, such as linings of converters, electric furnaces, ladles, and alkaline environments such as non-ferrous metallurgy (copper and nickel smelting furnaces) and cement kilns.
