Dense corundum is a new type of high purity refractory material, which is fused by high purity alumina and reducing agent at a certain ratio in electric arc furnace. The main crystal phase of dense corundum is α-al2o3, the color is light gray, with high melting point, quite high volume density and very low porosity, at high temperature has excellent wear resistance, slag resistance, volume stability and thermal shock resistance, is the refractory raw material of corundum series refractory raw materials.
Dense fused corundum is a refractory material, the main crystal phase is more than 96%, porosity is less than 4%, has good acid resistance, alkaline energy, good wear resistance at high temperature, erosion resistance and volume stability.

Aplicação of Kerui Dense Corundum
Widely used in iron and steel metallurgy, petrochemical, building materials ceramics and other industries. It is mainly used as the aggergate of refractory ramming material and castable in the iron outlet of blast furnace, and it is also an excellent material for making long nozzle, sliding plate and various corundum bricks.
